xDESTROY BABYLONx Band Biography
xDESTROY BABYLONx was born in the mid-2000s from the ashes of xAbsencex, the first Italian vegan straight edge band ever. Based in Northern Italy, xDBx has always delivered heavy, uncompromising hardcore fueled by a clear and relentless message: Animal Liberation and Drug Free living.
Their very first tour took them all the way to Japan in 2008, where they headlined the legendary Bloodaxe Festival in Tokyo, setting the tone early for an international path built on intensity and integrity.
Over the years the lineup has evolved but the core has never changed. Fabio (vocals) and Luca (guitar), founding members, are still leading the charge now joined by two veterans of the Italian hardcore scene: Marco on guitar and Giuliano on bass guitar. In 2026 a new young drummer, Michele, joined the band to bring further power and aggression.

Their debut album, By The Knife, was originally released in 2009 as a free download, a statement in itself, later enriched with the iconic bonus track “VEGAN STRAIGHT EDGE SAVED MY LIFE,” which quickly became an anthem within the scene.
In 2024, xDESTROY BABYLONx reunited with the same raw intensity and renewed focus, ready to bring true hardcore bangers back to stages worldwide.
In the summer of 2025, the band is set to embark on a two-week East Coast tour, playing 13 shows with Moral Law from Denver, marking a powerful return to the American hardcore circuit.
Looking ahead to 2026, xDBx is set to enter the studio to record a brand new EP. The release is scheduled for the United States through Life Sentence Records and in Europe via Still Life Records. At the same time, Life Sentence Records will handle the official U.S. reissue of By The Knife, bringing the band’s landmark debut back to the American market.
Still vegan. Still straight edge. Still uncompromising.
